Review by hotel critic
The room, with its clean and spacious layout, boasted comfortable beds that provided a restful night's sleep-an essential aspect for any weary traveler or historian seeking respite. The attention to detail was evident in the ample cupboards to stow away belongings, ensuring a clutter-free and organized space, which greatly contributed to the overall enjoyment of my stay. The hotel's dedication to guest satisfaction was further exemplified by the delicious breakfast and dinner offerings, which left me thoroughly impressed. The delectable meals not only tantalized the taste buds but also showcased the culinary expertise of the kitchen staff, adding a touch of gastronomic delight to my experience. The gesture of the owner providing a lift to the train station underscored the genuine care and hospitality that defined my time at Patonai, leaving me and my mother deeply grateful for such a thoughtful gesture. The strategic location of the hotel, within easy reach of notable sights such as the Esterházy Palace and offering safe parking with CCTV surveillance, further enhanced the overall appeal of the establishment. The convenience of nearby dining options, like the bakery across the street, added to the allure of the locale, making it a perfect choice for exploring the attractions on both the Hungarian and Austrian sides of the border.
